InterCEPT recertification process

1. Check your certification status
   • Go to your Class Management Console and open the "Certifications" tab.
   • If your certification is within 6 months of expiration, a "Requires Recertification" message will appear next to it.
   • You can renew at any time — even after expiration. There is no penalty for late renewal.
2. Complete required exams or updated classes
   • If the class has not been updated:
     Re-take and pass the final exam. (No need to re-purchase the class.)
   • If the class has been revised:
     Re-purchase the updated class, review the new content, and pass the final exam.
3. Exam retake options
   • If you do not pass the exam on the first try, you may review the course content and retake the exam as many times as needed at no extra cost.
   • For revised classes, if you fail the updated exam, you may review and retry again — also at no extra cost.
4. Pay the recertification fee
   • A $350 Recertification Fee applies to each certification you renew.
   • The payment option will appear at the bottom of the recertification page.
5. Submit your renewal
   • Once all required exams are passed and the fee is paid, a "RENEW CERTIFICATION" button will appear next to your certification name.
   • Click it, answer a few short questions, and complete the digital signature process.
6. Receive your renewed certificate
   • Your certification will be renewed immediately.
   • A new certificate and digital logo script will be available for download.
   • A PDF copy of your certificate will also be emailed to you.

• Certifications are valid for 5 years.
• Recertification involves re-taking exams and paying a $350 fee.
• If a course’s content has been updated, it must be purchased again.
• Unlimited exam retakes are included.
• Renewal can be done anytime before or after expiration.
