New ERAI Login Options

Hello Members,
At ERAI, we are continually working to improve your user experience while maintaining the high level of security you expect. As part of this effort, we are introducing new, more convenient methods for securely accessing our website. Based on member input, we are pleased to offer two new additional login methods that eliminate the need for an emailed PIN.
Starting today, you can choose from the following methods to access your ERAI account:
1. Email PIN Two-Factor Authentication (Default Method)
This is our existing login process. After entering your username and password, you will receive a PIN via email to verify your identity.
2. App-Based Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
You can enable app-based 2FA for your account. When activated, you will use an authenticator app on your mobile device (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or a similar app) to generate secure login codes.
This method replaces the emailed PIN and allows you to generate verification codes directly on your device.
Authenticator apps are available for download from your mobile device’s app store:
A Google or Microsoft account is not required to use these apps for standard one-time passcodes.
To enable this option, log in to the ERAI website and navigate to:
Profile > 2FA Authentication > Two-Factor Authentication, then follow the setup instructions using your mobile device.
3. Passkey Login
Passkey login offers a faster, password-free experience by using your device’s built-in security features. This method replaces both your password and email PIN.
To set up a passkey, log in to the ERAI website and go to:
Profile > 2FA Authentication > Passkeys.
Click "Register Passkey" and follow the prompts provided by your operating system.
Once configured, you can sign in using your security PIN (such as Windows security PIN or your mobile device security PIN), fingerprint, or facial recognition (if supported and enabled on your device).
Please note that you can enable both the 2FA authenticator app and passkey access simultaneously. This provides added flexibility—while the authenticator app allows you to access the ERAI website from any device, passkeys are typically limited to the specific device and operating system on which they are configured.
