InterCEPT Recertification - Renewing Your Certification and Maintaining Expertise
Maintaining an InterCEPT certification is more than a formality—it's a vital part of keeping your skills current in the evolving field of counterfeit electronic component avoidance. InterCEPT's recertification process ensures that certified individuals remain up to date with the latest counterfeit detection techniques, supply-chain risks, and industry best practices.
Why Recertify?
All InterCEPT certifications are valid for five years. After this period, recertification is required to demonstrate continued competence and relevance in the rapidly changing electronics industry.
Recertification Requirements
For all InterCEPT certification tracks—whether you're a Visual Inspector (Inspector 1 or 2) or a Program Manager - recertification involves completing the required exams and/or updated classes.
If an InterCEPT class in the certification track has not been updated, simply re-take and pass the final exam. There is no need to re-purchase the class(es).
If an InterCEPT class in the certification track has been updated, you will need to purchase the updated class, review the new content, and pass the final exam.
Recertification Fees
The cost to recertify is the same across all certification types: $350 for both inspectors and program managers. Please note the fee applies to each certification type.
Staying Current with Industry Trends
Recertification ensures certified individuals are aligned with latest counterfeit mitigation techniques, including updated detection technologies and best practices. By renewing, professionals reaffirm their commitment to quality assurance, supply-chain integrity, and risk mitigation.
How to Recertify
