ERAI, headquartered in Naples, FL, was founded in 1995. Our CEO and Founding Members envisioned an innovative service that would assist Buyers and Sellers of electronic components in making more informed business decisions. They foresaw the need to unite and share data and by recognizing this niche, they rapidly pioneered a service completely unique to the distribution community. This evolving marketplace has made ERAI a "must have" service for anyone involved in purchasing, selling or using electronic components.

The need for the services offered by ERAI has grown exponentially, fueled largely by the increased number of counterfeit and substandard electronic components being exported from China and elsewhere around the world in addition to a difficult economic climate. Our organization is leading the fight against the sale of counterfeit components and is promoting a higher level of quality and awareness via data-sharing, education, training and networking.

These changing times have necessitated expanded industry involvement reaching beyond the distribution channel encompassing, but not limited to, original component manufacturing (OCM), original equipment manufacturing (OEM), contract manufacturing (CM) and government manufacturing sectors.

Our Business Concept

Our concept is simple: We gather, verify, investigate and report information received from our Members, Affiliates, and Participants to expose potential problems in the hi-tech electronics industry. Upon request, we also intervene on their behalf to help resolve problematic business transactions. We take every opportunity to train and educate in the name of safety, prevention and overall customer satisfaction. Our staff is trained to assist you with problems as small as a past due invoice to complicated issues involving the sale of counterfeit components. We will teach you how to buy, sell and inspect components, while ensuring that quality and service are paramount in the process. The more Buyers and Sellers do to safeguard their companies, the better the end result for all involved. Preventing losses before they happen is our primary objective.
